Installation Procedure
- Fill the transfer case to the bottom of the fill plug hole with the recommended fluid. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers , and Approximate Fluid Capacities .
- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Install a NEW fill plug (1) and seal and tighten to 39 N.m (29 lb ft).
- Lower the vehicle.
