Generator Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement , or Drive Belt Replacement (LV7) . Disconnect the generator connector.
1	Generator B (+) Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the generator B (+) nut. Tighten 14 N.m (10 lb ft)
2	Generator Bolt (Qty: 2) Procedure Remove the generator bolts. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
3	Generator Nut Procedure Remove the generator nut. Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
4	Generator Stud Procedure Remove the generator stud. Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
