Removal Procedure

- Remove the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement .
- Remove the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
- Remove the I/P knee bolster. Refer to Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Replacement .
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the electronic power steering motor control module.
- Remove the electronic power steering motor control module bracket bolts (1).
- Remove the electronic power steering motor control module and bracket assembly from the vehicle.
- Remove the electronic power steering motor control module mounting bolts (1).
- Remove the electronic power steering motor control module (2) from the electronic power steering motor control module bracket (3).
