Steering Angle Sensor Centering

For vehicles WITHOUT electronic stability control program and INTERNAL Steering Angle Sensor
The internal steering angle sensor centering procedure can be completed with a scan tool using the following steps:
- Install the scan tool to the data link connector.
- Ignition ON, engine OFF
- Select Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Reset in the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Module Configuration/Reset Functions list.
- Reset Adaptive Data Control
- Using the steering wheel, align the front wheels forward
- Verify the steering wheel and front wheel are in a straight ahead position
- Select the Steering Wheel Angle Sensor learn and follow the on screen instruction
- Clear DTCs after completing the learning procedures.
