Installation Procedure

  1. GM4751262Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY

    Battery Positive Cable Junction Block (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)

    Body Harness (3) - Install

  4. Body Harness Terminal Nut (4) - Tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)
  5. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Install
  6. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. Battery Positive Cable (5) - Install
  8. Battery Positive Cable Nut (6) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
  9. Electrical Connector (7) - Connect [2x]

    Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Cover (1) - Install

  11. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
