Installation Procedure
With the aid of an assistant, feed the battery positive cable extension cable (3) through the opening in the plenum and into the engine compartment area.
- Install the pass-through grommet (2).
- Install the retainers. (1)
Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (2) - Install
- Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install
Install the retainers. (1)
- Install the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LT1 LT4) , or Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LTG)
Install the retainers. (1)
- Feed the battery positive cable extension cable into the rear compartment.
Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable (4) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Extension Cable Fastener (2) - Install and tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
- Rear Body Fuse Block Cover (3) - Install
- Install the retainers. (1)
Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel-Right Side (2) - Install - Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side (Coupe) , or Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side (Convertible)
Rear Floor Panel Carpet (2) - Install - Rear Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
Front Floor Panel Carpet - Right Side (2) - Install - Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement - Right Side
- Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
