Preliminary Procedures Remove the liftgate trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Replacement (Hatchback) . Remove the liftgate latch cover.
1	Liftgate Latch Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Liftgate Latch Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Adjust the liftgate if needed.
