Installation Procedure
Temporarily install the radiator support for proper fit.
Spreading tool will be need to be installed at the lower section of the front wheelhouse panel reinforcement to allow for radiator support to be installed.
- Position radiator support (1) to vehicle using 3 - dimensional measuring equipment.NOTE:
Left shown, right similar.
- Drill 6.7 mm (17/64") hole (1) through radiator support for rivet installation. [2X]
- Remove the radiator support (1) from the vehicle
- Prepare all mating surfaces for welding as necessary.
- Apply weld-thru coating or equivalent to all welding surfaces. Anti-Corrosion Treatment and RepairNOTE:
Only remove E-coat where adhesive will be applied.
NOTE:Left shown, right similar.
- Clean and prepare radiator support and vehicle for adhesive according to adhesive manufacturer's recommendations. METAL PANEL BONDING
- Apply structural adhesive (1) on the mating surfaces of radiator support and vehicle according to adhesive manufacturer's recommendations. METAL PANEL BONDING
- Install radiator support (1) to vehicle and clamp into place.
- Radiator Support Body Bolt (1) >> Install [2X] Body Upgrade Mount ReplacementNOTE:

- Install rivets (1) in radiator support. [SR1 2X] Fastener SpecificationsNOTE:

- Install spot welds (1) on radiator support. [6X]NOTE:

- Install spot welds (1) on radiator support. [2X]NOTE:

- Install spot welds (1) on radiator support. [3X]NOTE:

- Install spot welds (1) on radiator support. [7X]NOTE:

Temporarily install the front compartment upper side rail sectioning for proper fit.
- Position front compartment upper side rail sectioning (1) to vehicle using 3-dimensional measuring equipment.NOTE:

- Drill 6.7 mm (17/64") hole (1) through front compartment upper side rail sectioning for rivet installation. [3X]
- Remove the front compartment upper side rail sectioning (1) from the vehicle.
- Prepare all mating surfaces for welding as necessary.

- Apply structural adhesive (1) on the mating surfaces of front compartment upper side rail sectioning and vehicle according to adhesive manufacturer's recommendations. METAL PANEL BONDINGNOTE:

- Install front compartment upper side rail sectioning (1) to vehicle and clamp into place.NOTE:

- Install rivets (1) in front compartment upper side rail sectioning. [SR1 3X] Fastener SpecificationsNOTE:

- Install spot welds (1) on front compartment upper side rail sectioning. [11X]
- Install radiator upper support.
- Install radiator support diagonal brace.
- Apply the sealers and anti-corrosion materials to the repair area as necessary. Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair
- Paint the repaired area. Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint Systems
- Install all related panels and components.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1, 5W4)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling .
