Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X1 connector at the A103 Roof Console. It may take up to 2 min for all vehicle systems to power down.
- Test ground circuit terminal 12 for an open/high resistance.
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found.
- Disconnect the X2 connector at the A103 Roof Console. Ignition ON
- Test the following control circuits for greater than 8.5 V
- Terminal 3 and ground
- Terminal 4 and ground.
- If less than 8.5 V on both circuits
- Ignition OFF, test the following circuits for a short to ground.
- Circuit 2516
- Circuit 2517
- If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to ground is not found.
- Test the following circuits for an open/high resistance.
- Circuit 2516
- Circuit 2517
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found.
- Replace the K73 Telematic Control Module.
- Go to next step: If greater than 8.5 V on either circuit.
- Replace the A103 Roof Console.
