Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]

  3. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (2) - Remove
  4. Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt(3) - Remove [3x]
  5. Reposition the rear section of the right front wheelhouse liner (4) to gain access to the windshield washer solvent container level sensor and grommet.
  6. Place a clean suitable drain pan under the windshield washer solvent container to recover the windshield washer solvent when the windshield washer solvent container level sensor and grommet are removed.

    Disconnect the electrical connector.

  8. Using two flat-bladed tools, place the blades under each side of the windshield washer solvent container level sensor (1).
  9. Twist the two flat-bladed tools in opposite directions to lift and disengage the windshield washer solvent container level sensor (1) from the windshield washer solvent container level sensor grommet (2).
  10. Carefully squeeze the windshield washer solvent container level sensor grommet (2) while using a flat-bladed tool to pry outward under the edge of the grommet.
