Installation Procedure
Vacuum Pump Gasket(4) - Install a NEW gasket.
- Vacuum Pump(3) - Install
- Vacuum Pump Bolt(2) - Install and tighten10N.m (89 lb in)
- Vacuum Pump Bolt(1) - Install and tighten [2x] 10N.m (89 lb in)
Electrical Connector(4)@Camshaft Position Sensor - Connect
- Electrical Connector(3)@Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Connect
- Retainer(1)@Vacuum Pump(2) - Connect
Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose(1)@Vacuum Pump - Connect - Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Replacement (LTG)
Install the outer fuel pump insulator (2). Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Inner) , or Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Outer)
- Intake Manifold Cover - Install - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
NOTE:
Ensure the notches on the vacuum pump are aligned with the groove on the end of the camshaft. Use an inspection mirror to view the orientation of the camshaft if necessary.
