Installation Procedure
- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Engine Oil Temperature Sensor (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the electrical connector.
Install the air conditioning compressor (3) to the vehicle.
- Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the electrical connector.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Air Conditioning Sealing Washers Oil or Lubricant Exposure Caution .
Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Small (3) - Install NEW
- Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Large (4) - Install NEW
- Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install
- Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Nut (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Underbody Front Air Deflector (1) - Install
Underbody Front Air Deflector Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- Underbody Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [10x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace (2) - Install
- Front Compartment Side Rail Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Position the accessory drive primary belt (2) onto all but one of the pulleys.
- Use a suitable tool to rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) counterclockwise, then hold tension.
- Install the accessory drive primary belt (2) onto the last pulley. Check to ensure that the accessory drive primary belt is centered on each pulley, and fully seated into ribbed pulleys.
- Slowly release tension from the drive belt tensioner (1).
- Inspect the accessory drive primary belt (2) again to ensure centered on each pulley.

Front Wheelhouse Liner- Right Side (3) - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
- Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) , or Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf)
- Install the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Base) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (Z71)
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
