Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Ensure that you push the line into the fitting as far as it will go. At least part of the white marking MUST be into the top of the fitting. Remember, when inserting an air line into an air spring fitting, just because the white marks are in the fitting, does NOT always mean that the line is fully inserted and pushing the one way check valve open.

    Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube Fitting (2) - Install

  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  4. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly.

    Remove the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve cap (1).

  6. Install CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator to the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve (2) and set the regulator on the nitrogen tank to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
  7. Using CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator, open the valve on the pressure gage to fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
  8. Using CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator and the shop nitrogen tank, fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
  9. Close the pressure gauge valve and remove CH-52667  Air Spring Inflator from the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
  10. Install the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve cap (1) and tighten. Fastener Specifications .
  11. Partially lower the vehicle, but DO NOT let the wheels touch the ground.
  12. Using GDS2 tool, use short-term inflate to increase pressure to the air springs:
    • Front: 6 Bar (87 PSI)
    • Rear: 5 Bar (73 PSI)
  13. Using GDS2, verify automatic level control air supply tank pressure is at 16 Bar (232 PSI), if not repeat steps 5 - 8.
  14. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
