Automatic Level Control Module Scan Tool Output Controls
| Output Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Air Spring Deflation | Short Term Deflate - Opens the selected valve for up to a 2 second to allow visible movement. This verifies that the spring can properly deflate. Complete Deflate - When vehicle is raised off the ground or an individual corner is jacked/raised up, opens the valve until selected air spring is approximately 2 Bar. Used to deflate the selected air spring for replacement or testing. |
| Deflate Air Suspension Reservoir | Opens selected valve until pressure is low enough for Reservoir Removal |
| Equalize All Air Spring Pressures | Equalizes spring pressures on the selected axle. Function runs for up to 12 seconds. Used to equalize pressures across axle after component replacement. |
| Short Term Inflate | Opens the selected valve for up to 2 seconds, allowing selected corner to inflate and see that air moves into air spring. Used for testing air spring inflation and inflating air spring after repair or replacement. |
| Pneumatic Connection Pressure Test | Tests the pneumatic connection from the Pneumatic Control Unit to the Air Compressor. Used any time the airline is opened or replaced to verify there are no leaks. |
| Test Compressor Pneumatic Operation | Commands the Air Suspension Leveling Compressor to On for a up to 20 seconds. Used to verify the compressor motor/pump/exhaust valve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic operation. |
Automatic Level Control Module Scan Tool Configuration/Reset Functions
