Installation Procedure

    Automatic Level Control Module (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Automatic Level Control Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the air suspension controller electrical connector (1).

    NOTE:
    • The air lines and air suspension controller are color coded.
    • Ensure that you push the line into the fitting as far as it will go. At least part of the white marking MUST be into the top of the fitting. Remember, when inserting an air line into an air spring fitting, just because the white marks are in the fitting, does NOT always mean that the line is fully inserted and pushing the one way check valve open.

    Without removing the 5 automatic level control air compressor tube fittings (1) in the air suspension controller, fully insert the 5 automatic level control air compressor tubes (3) into the 5 automatic level control air compressor tube fittings in the air suspension controller and tighten. Fastener Specifications 

  5. Slightly pull on each line to ensure proper seating is obtained.

    Connect the electrical connector (2).

  7. Install the wire harness retainer (3).
  8. Connect the electrical connector (1).

    Install the air intake filter retainer (1).

    Install the air line retaining clip (2).

  11. Install the air intake/exhaust line (1) in the body grommet.
  12. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly.
  13. Perform the air suspension pressurization procedure. Air Suspension System Depressurization and Pressurization 
  14. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  15. After installation, program the automatic level control module. Control Module References
  16. Verify the vehicle leveling system is out of service mode and has returned to normal operation. Clear any stored DTC codes if needed.
  17. Start the vehicle and allow to return to normal ride height.
  18. With the vehicle off the hoist and on flat level ground, inspect the trim height. Trim Height Inspection
