Circuit/System Verification
NOTE:
- This DTC may be stored as a history DTC without affecting the operation of the control module.
- If stored only as a history DTC and not retrieved as a current DTC, do not replace the control module.
DTC U3000 is set as a current DTC with symptom byte 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, or 57
- Ignition ON/Vehicle In Service Mode, engine OFF.
- Program the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
DTC U3000 is set as a current DTC with symptom byte 49
- Program the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC sets
- If the DTC does not set
- Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF for 2 minutes.
- Remove the fuse that supplies power to the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module for 10 Minutes. Re-install fuse.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC sets
- If the DTC does not set
- Verify the LVDS cable is properly connected at the K180 Driver Monitoring System Module, B292 Driver Monitoring Camera, and any in-line connections, and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
- If connection problems or cable damage is noted
Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues.
- Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is noted
- If connection problems or cable damage is noted
- Replace the B292 Drivers Monitoring Camera.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC does not set
All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC sets
- If the DTC does not set
- Replace the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module
DTC U3000 is set as a current DTC with any symptom byte, except 49, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, or 57
- Replace the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module.
