Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1983-85 2.2L (135) FI & Turbo: Connect voltmeter (+) to orange wire with blue tracer of the throttle body connector. Connect vboltmeter (-) to ground. Turn ignition switch to run position. Check voltage against specification with engine not running.
