Rectifier Assembly: Notes
NOTE:
If rectifiers test shorted, unsolder stator from rectifier assembly and retest. Use a pair of needle nose pliers as a heat sink during any soldering operations. It is possible that a stator winding could be grounded to stator laminations or rectifier end shield which would indicate shorted negative rectifier.
CAUTION:
DO NOT
break plastic cases of the rectifiers. Cases are for protection against corrosion. Always touch test probe to metal pin nearest rectifier.
