Anti-Lock Brake System: Overhaul: Modulator
- To overhaul modulator, refer to Fig. Fig 1
. Ensure overhaul is completed in a clean working area. Remove hydraulic cylinder from modulator. Remove plunger and dust seal. Remove snap ring and seal cup.
- While holding portion painted Black
, remove bleeder cap and "O" ring. Remove bushing and choke valve piston. Remove "O" ring from choke valve piston. Check all parts for wear or damage.
- To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. When installing valve cap, gap between cap and body should be .02-.04" (.5-1.0 mm). Coat all parts with Mopar Brake Fluid (2933249) before installing.
