Stoplight Cruise Control Switch

  1. Disconnect 6-wire connector at stoplight switch pigtail. Using an ohmmeter, continuity may be checked at the switch side of the connector as follows: a) With brake pedal released, there should be continuity (no resistance) between Dark Blue and Red tracer and yellow with red tracer wires. There should be continuity between pink and white wires. b) With brake pedal depressed, there should be continuity between Pink and White wires. There should be no continuity between Dark Blue with Red tracer and Yellow with Red tracer and black wires.
  2. If the above results are not obtained, the stop lamp switch is defective or out of adjustment. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH  under ADJUSTMENTS.
