Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) Control Module/Control Panel: Notes

The ATC control module is part of the control panel. The ATC control module controls all electrical components of automatic temperature control. ATC control module provides signals to Power Module (PM), blend-air door actuator, fresh/recirculated air door actuator and mode door actuator according to control panel selections and sensor inputs.

Control panel allows operator to control various functions of ATC control module by pushing buttons to change system modes. See Fig 1. Blower speed, selected temperature, airflow direction and A/C mode is displayed on control panel. To change temperature display reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius or vice versa, depress floor and defrost buttons at the same time.
