Test 21A - Left Tail Lamp Out
NOTE:
For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Remove and inspect faulty left side tail lamp bulb. If bulb is defective, replace bulb. If bulb is okay, go to next step.
- Inspect bulb socket connector. Clean and repair connections as needed. Put DRB in voltmeter mode. Measure voltage at bulb socket connector terminal No. 3 (Black/Pink wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair Black wire between bulb socket connector and ground for open to ground. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Disconnect lamp outage module connector. Check, clean and repair connections as needed. Connect jumper wire between lamp outage module connector terminal No. 11 (Black/Pink wire) and terminal No. 12 (Black/Yellow wire). If left tail lamps glow, replace lamp outage module. If left tail lamps do not glow, repair open Black/Pink wire between lamp outage module connector and left bulb socket connector.
