Motor Test
- Remove door trim panel. Using jumper wires, connect battery positive and negative leads to motor terminals. Window should move up or down. Reverse jumper wires. Window should move in opposite direction.
- If window does not move, remove motor. See WINDOW MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If motor operates while disconnected, check window/regulator for freedom of movement.
- Remove screws holding glass lift plate to regulator. Slide window up and down by hand to ensure it moves freely in glass channels. If window slides freely, check regulator assembly. Repair window/regulator as necessary.
