Bleeding Brake System: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Eagle Talon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING: Under normal operating conditions, ABS is under high pressure. Before servicing any component or opening fluid reservoir, system pressure must be released. With ignition switch in OFF position, pump brake pedal a minimum of 20-25 times using full pedal strokes. When a definite increase in pedal effort is felt, pump pedal twice more.
NOTE: Strain brake fluid before adding to master cylinder reservoir, or debris may damage Hydraulic Unit (HU).
