Verification Test VER-1A

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors. If BCM was replaced, turn ignition on for at least 15 seconds. Program all RKE transmitters, recalibrate HVAC doors and program other options as necessary.
  2. If vehicle is equipped with VTSS, select MISCELLANEOUS and ENABLE VTSS. If battery was disconnected, start engine and recalibrate HVAC doors using scan tool.
  3. Ensure ignition is on. Erase all DTCs using scan tool. Turn ignition off and wait 5 seconds. Turn ignition on and fully operate system that was malfunctioning.
  4. If system does not operate properly, go to SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION TEST 1A in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS - CONCORDE, INTREPID, LHS & 300M article. If system operates properly, read fault messages using scan tool. If any codes are present, go to SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION TEST 1B in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS - CONCORDE, INTREPID, LHS & 300M article. If no DTCs are present, system is operating correctly and customer's complaint cannot be duplicated, repair is complete.
