Verification Test VER-1A

  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and wiring. Turn ignition on. Use scan tool to erase trouble codes. Turn ignition off and wait at least 5 seconds and then turn ignition on (engine off).
  2. Operate system that was malfunctioning to verify correct operation. If system does not operate properly, go to SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION TEST 1A in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS - BREEZE, CIRRUS, SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, STRATUS article. If system operates properly, read fault messages using scan tool. If any codes are present, go to SYMPTOM IDENTIFICATION TEST 1A in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS - BREEZE, CIRRUS, SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, STRATUS article. If no codes are present, repair is complete.
