On vehicles equipped with air bag restraint system, see appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article before servicing steering wheel or column. Use extreme caution to avoid personal injury and vehicle damage.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
