System Tests

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 12 other vehicles, including the 2004 Dodge Intrepid, 2004 Chrysler Intrepid, 2004 Chrysler Concorde, 2004 Chrysler 300M, and 2003 Dodge Intrepid. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors radiator cooling fan, cooling fan circuit and cooling fan relays and will store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) if a fault is detected. To diagnose an inoperative cooling fan, a Diagnostic Readout Box (DRBIII(R)) scan tool, volt/ohm meter and vehicle wiring diagrams are required. If DTC P0480 or P0481 are present, see appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE to retrieve DTCs and for detailed testing procedures.
