Power Mirror Motor

  1. Remove power mirror switch and disconnect harness connector. Connect a fused jumper wire to positive battery voltage. Connect another jumper wire to ground. Connect voltage and ground to appropriate power mirror switch harness connector terminals. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST  table. See Fig 1 . Observe motor operation. If motor operates in appropriate directions, motor and wiring between switch and motor are okay at this time. If motor does not operate or operates in wrong direction, go to next step.
  2. Check wiring between power mirror switch and power mirror motor for proper installation, opens and/or shorts. If problem exists, repair as necessary. If problem does not exist, replace appropriate power mirror motor.

Mirror Operation Apply 12 Volts To Terminal No. Apply Ground to Terminal No.
Driver' Side

Passenger's Side
