Removal & Installation

Transmission Control Module (TCM) is located near Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Power Distribution Center (PDC) in engine compartment. See Figure. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect TCM connector. Remove 3 screws attaching TCM. Remove TCM from vehicle. To install, reverse removal procedure. After TCM is replaced, transaxle quick learn and pinion factor procedure must be performed. See TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING.
