TCM Resetting Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery before replacing or overhauling the transaxle.

2. After work has been completed, check the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). If DTC No. 12 ("Battery power was disconnected since last power down") has been set, this DTC must be cleared.

Then, select "Special function" on the scan tool and set the scan tool to Quick Learn mode. This enables TCM to learn the clutch volume index.
