Programming Procedure

  1. Using a functional transmitter, unlock vehicle and disarm vehicle theft security system (if equipped). Turn ignition on. Depress and hold transmitter UNLOCK button for 4-10 seconds. While holding UNLOCK button, press and release PANIC button within 10 seconds.
  2. A single chime will sound to verify RKE module is set to receive new transmitter Vehicle Access Code (VAC). Within 30 seconds of chime, actuate any button on each new transmitter. After 30 seconds or when ignition switch is turned off (LOCK position), RKE module will end programming mode. Once programming mode is completed, a single chime will sound. Turn ignition off. Verify new transmitter operation.
