Inner CV Boot: Notes
NOTE:
When axle shaft boots are replaced be sure boots of correct material are used on vehicle. The only service which is to be performed on the axle shaft assemblies is the replacement of the axle shaft seal boots. Lubricant requirements and quantities are different for inner joints than are for outer joints. Use only the recommended lubricants.
CAUTION:
When removing spider joint from tripod joint housing. Hold rollers in place on spider trunions to prevent rollers and needle bearings from falling away.
