Bus +/- Signals Open Or No Response From Body Control Module

Ensure scan tool communicates with other modules before testing. If scan tool does not communicate with other modules, diagnose communication problem. See PCI BUS COMMUNICATION FAILURE  . Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) C2 26-pin and C3 White 16-pin connectors. BCM is connected to junction block under left side of instrument panel. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 2 (Black/Gray wire) at BCM C2 harness connector. See Figure . Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 13 (Black wire) at BCM C3 harness connector. See Figure . If resistance is 10 ohms or more at any terminal, repair open or high resistance in Black/Gray wire and/or Black wire between BCM and ground. If resistance is less than 10 ohms at both terminals, replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
