Front Wipers Not Working In Intermittent Mode

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2000 Plymouth Voyager, 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2000 Dodge Caravan, and 2000 Chrysler Voyager. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Turn ignition on. Move wiper switch through all 6 intermittent positions. If wipers were inoperative in all positions, go to next step. If wipers were only inoperative in some switch positions, replace multifunction switch.
  2. Using scan tool, select SENSORS and monitor intermittent wiper voltage at each position of wiper switch. If voltage changes each time a different position is chosen, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure . If voltage does not change each time a different position is chosen, replace multifunction switch.
