Tire Pressure Sensor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chrysler 300M and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Tire pressure may increase from 2-6 psi (14-41 kPa) during normal driving conditions. Do not reduce this normal pressure build up.
NOTE: If a tire and wheel rotation is not followed by the retrain procedure, the system will not properly inform the driver with the correct location on the vehicle for a low or high pressure tire.

If a fault in the system is detected, always check air pressure in the tires first with a known accurate air gauge and correct the inflation pressure as necessary. Inspect all tires for pressure.

If gauge read pressure in the tires does not reflect the data on the EVIC, retrain the sensors, then reevaluate. See TIRE SENSOR RELEARN PROCEDURE  under PROGRAMMING.
