Speed Control Cable: Installation
- Install cable core wire through center hole on bracket, onto servo center post.
- Install retaining clip to cable at servo.
- Slide cable bell housing over servo mounting studs through the bracket.
- Install 2 nuts, tighten to 60 INCH lbs. (7 N.m).
- Slide cables into throttle cable bracket and engage retaining tabs.
- Rotate the throttle cam forward to the wide open position and install speed control cable clasp.
- Rotate the throttle cam forward to the wide open position and install throttle cable clasp.
- Install engine cover and throttle control shield, if equipped.
- Install the negative battery cable.
- Install the air cleaner lid, makeup air hose.
