Anti-Lock Brake System Module

Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is referred to as a Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) module. CAB module monitors Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) inputs continuously while vehicle is in motion to modulate hydraulic pressure in each brake channel. ABS is activated to prevent wheel lockup under severe braking conditions to provide improved vehicle control. CAB module communicates with other modules through CCD bus circuit.
