Test No. 18: Remote Keyless Entry System Transmitter Signal Is Not Sent To ETACS ECU
- Attempt to program transmitter. See PROGRAMMING in REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS - SEBRING COUPE & STRATUS COUPE article. If transmitter cannot be programmed, go to next step. If transmitter can be programmed, recheck lock, unlock and panic switch input signals.
- Remove transmitter battery and measure voltage. If battery voltage is 2.5-3.2 volts, go to next step. If battery voltage is not 2.5-3.2 volts, replace battery. Recheck lock, unlock and panic switch input signals.
- Attempt to program a different transmitter. If a different transmitter cannot be programmed, replace ETACS ECU. Recheck lock, unlock and panic switch input signals. If a different transmitter can be programmed, recheck lock, unlock and panic switch input signals.
