Component Tests: Transmitter

Replace transmitter batteries. Reprogram suspect transmitter and a known-good transmitter. See TRANSMITTER  under PROGRAMMING. Test system with both transmitters. If both transmitters do not operate system, diagnose system using scan tool. See BODY CONTROL MODULES - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article. If known-good transmitter operates system but suspect transmitter does not, replace faulty transmitter. Repeat transmitter programming.
