AUTOSTICK Feature: Notes

If equipped, the EMIC may incorporate the Auto-Stick PRNDL feature. When the ignition is cycled from the Off to the Unlock position, the EMIC will transmit the AutoStick information to the EATX via the PCI data bus. This message is sent continuously every second whenever the cluster is awake in order to communicate the PRNDL type to the EATX. The EATX then learns if it is in an Autostick (A/S) vehicle from the message.
