Transmission Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the passenger floor mat and pull the carpet back in the front portion of the footwell.
  3. Remove the plastic nuts holding the base plate (3) to the passenger footwell and pull the base plate (3) down.
  4. Remove the screws holding the transmission control module (1) to the base plate (3).
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the transmission control module (1).
