Prop Rod Assembly: Removal

Open the liftgate and support.
Using a small flat bladed tool, or equivalent, release the retaining clips while pulling the ball socket away from the ball stud. (Fig 1 )
NOTE: Lift the clips only enough to release the ball studs. (Fig 2 )

Remove the support cylinder.
