Window Regulator: Removal

  1. Remove door trim panel. (Refer to REMOVAL ).
  2. Remove watershield. (Refer to REMOVAL ).
  3. Remove inner belt molding. (Refer to REAR DOOR INNER BELT MOLDING WEATHERSTRIP ).
  4. Disconnect door glass from lift plate bracket and tape glass in the up position (Figure). (Refer to REMOVAL ).
  5. Disconnect wire connector from power window motor (Figure).
  6. Loosen screws attaching regulator and window motor to inner door panel (Figure).
  7. Remove regulator from inner door panel (Figure).
