Service Procedure

1. Move the driver's seat to the full forward and full up position.

2. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the seat mounting bolts.

NOTE:
Four door models have four seat track mounting bolts and convertible models have five.





4. Tilt the seat assembly rearward to gain access to the heated seat wiring located under the seat and disconnect the wiring (Figure 1).





5. Remove and discard the original heated seat control module and wiring (Figure 2).

6. Route the new wiring harness into position.

7. Connect the heated seat control module to the harness and tie strap the module to the seat pan using the tie strap supplied in the kit. Trim the tie strap as required.

8. Connect all heated seat electrical connectors.

9. Place the seat into position and install the retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 45 ft.lbs. (61 N.m).

10. Repeat Steps 3 through 9 on the passenger side front seat.

11. Connect the negative battery cable.
