Sentry Key Remote Entry Module: Installation

When a PCM and the SKREEM are replaced at the same time, perform the following steps in order:

1. Program the new PCM.
2. Program the new SKREEM.
3. Replace all ignition keys and program them to the new SKREEM.

   (Refer to ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE - PCM/SKREEM PROGRAMMING)

4. Position the SKREEM on the ignition lock housing and install the retaining screw (1).

5. Position the ignition switch/lock assembly (3) up in behind the instrument panel and push rearward.
6. Install the two mounting nuts to the front of the instrument panel (1).

7. From underneath the ignition switch/lock assembly, tighten the lower retaining screw (3).
8. Reach up behind the left side of the center stack and connect the ignition switch (6) and SKREEM (5) electrical connectors.
9. Install the cluster bezel (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/CLUSTER BEZEL - REMOVAL) .
10. Install the steering column opening cover (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/STEERING COLUMN OPENING COVER - INSTALLATION) .
11. Connect the battery negative cable.
