BCM, PCI Bus Shorted To Battery

NOTE: If any of these DTCs are set, scan tool will not be ale to communicate with any system except Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.

If any of these DTCs are set current, it will be necessary to perform PCI BUS COMMUNICATION FAILURE . Start engine and allow to idle. Access Front Control Module (FCM) and Body Control Module (BCM). See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Wiggle wiring harness and connectors at FCM and BCM. Check for any related Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs). Visually check for poor connections or damaged wiring. Repair as necessary. If wiring is okay, test is complete.
