Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit Short To Ground

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.

Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, record and erase DTCs. Turn ignition off. Wait approximately 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Operate power sliding door to full open and full closed position several times if possible. Recheck for DTCs. If AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND resets, replace Power Sliding Door Module (PSDM). See POWER SLIDING DOOR MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND does not reset, system is okay at this time. Check for intermittent poor connections or faulty circuits. See POWER DOOR LOCKS in appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL.
