  1. Remove all test equipment and jumper wires. Reconnect any disconnected components. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under driver's side of instrument panel, left of steering column. Using scan tool, record and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from Memory Seat/Mirror Module (MSMM).
  2. Using memory switch, program memory settings No. 1 and 2 to different positions. Remove ignition key from ignition switch and close all doors. Wait at least 30 seconds for Body Control Module (BCM) to time out. Recall memory positions using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and memory switch. Verify that memory positions for memory settings No. 1 and 2 recall to set positions.
  3. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, record and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from all modules. Start engine and allow to run for approximately 2 minutes. Operate system that set DTC. Turn ignition off. Wait approximately 5 seconds. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs from all modules. If no DTCs exist, go to next step. If any DTCs exist, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION  table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
