Installation - RHD
- Connect the harness connectors to the body control module (6) and push the metal body control module connector lock down to lock the connector assembly. Then, connect the windshield wiper electrical connector to the body control module and slide the grey windshield wiper connector lock to the left to lock it.
- Install body control module into the control module box (5).
- Install the plastic control module box cover (1) and slide the clips rearward to lock the cover.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- After the BCM is installed it is necessary to either download information from the DRBIII®, or manually enter information received form TECHTOOLS, or from STAR Hotline to program the new BCM.
Choose Module Service Replacement from the DRBIII® menu. Choose the BCM Replacement option and follow the instructions on the scan tool screen. Pressing the ENTER key at any option screen will program the module after you have made all of your selections.
